Market hours
Tokenized stocks, indices and commodities track a market that closes. On some venues — QFEX among them — funding is zero while the underlying market is closed.
Annualizing such a rate as if it paid every hour of the year overstates it. For these legs we:
- Learn each market’s funding schedule — the hours of the week that actually paid in the last 7 days.
- Count how many hours of your hold fall inside that schedule.
- Scale the leg’s funding by
funded_hours / hold_hours.
The review shows it as Funding: N of M h, and market closed while it is. When the market is closed the current rate is zero, so the funded-hours average is used for the hours ahead.
The 7-day average already contains the closed hours as zeros, so it needs no correction.
Exchange holidays are not modelled: a holiday inside your hold counts as a normal trading day.
